Foreign Investment

Most of the economic activities in Mexico are open to foreign investment, although certain activities are reserved to the Mexican government, to individuals and legal entities of Mexican nationality or have maximum percentages of shares held by foreigners. Additionally, acquisition of ownership of real estate in coastal areas and borderlines of the country by non-nationals are limited.

Also, companies where foreign capital represents most shares are subject to compliance with specific obligations. RGR has the experience and required expertise to obtain approval from the National Foreign Investment Commission when required for specific investment and to control of Foreign Investment Act related obligations by foreign investors and Mexican companies reporting foreign investment before the National Registry of Foreign Investments.
